Let's be clear, today the number of eSports professionals is limited, even if the forecasts indicate that in the 10 years to come their growth will be exponential. That's why we created the G.Academy sports studies.

Our objective is as much to make professional athletes emerge as to give the very good business training bases necessary for our students so that they can find a job in the Gaming sector.

Curriculum

The aim of the Gaming Academy is to train professional video game players through two programs :

  • "High-level e-athlete" Certification: sign as a professional athlete in an esport team
  • "Entrepreneur Influencer" Certification: Create a community around your talent and monetize it

These intensive training programs are built over two years with the possibility to join the Gaming Business School and obtain the bachelor's degree or the master's degree, if one satisfies the admission requirements. The transition to a higher level is based on obtaining the US, UEI, UP and EU.


Sports Program (US):

  • US training: individual training, team training, video work
  • US physics: sports training, lifestyle and nutrition

Practical program (UP):

  • Competitive UP: competitive situation, competition results
  • UP immersion: conducting a group project dedicated to the gaming business and results obtained

Teaching program (EU):

  • EU business fundamentals: give you the basics of business (economics, marketing, digital, management, English, communication, oral expression, management, finance, rh)
  • EU fundamental gaming: understanding the specificities of the video game sector (eve, creation of a game, sale of a game, organization of events around video games, animation community gaming, esport)

The two games open for the 2018 - 2019 promotion are "League of Legends (Riot)" and "FIFA (Electronic Arts)".

We chose a teaching by project. You will spend your time evenly between theory and practice to transform your knowledge into skills.

Influencer Entrepreneur Program (UEI)

  • UEI personnal branding: oral expression, staging, improvisation theatrical.
  • UEI content creation: define an editorial line, create video content, create text content, create content on social networks, live streaming.
  • UEI audience: community animation, mastery of the tools of influence, audience generation.

PROFESSIONALIZING PROJECTS

Professional Training and Dissemination Center

Just like the training centers of the professional teams of other sports, you have access to the Gaming Campus to all infrastructure to accelerate your progress based on the certification you have chosen.

Future athletes will be accompanied by sports programs inspired by the biggest League of Legends (Riot) or FIFA (EA) teams thanks to our partner teams. In this way, the athletes will progress together and participate in competitions to follow their evolution.

Influencer entrepreneurs will have the support of image, communication and monetization professionals throughout the course. Streamers / youtubeurs to success will come to transmit their knowledge to them in a specific way during masterclass. Influencer entrepreneurs will jointly develop their image, their community and monetization.

Project-based pedagogy

The whole Gaming Academy pedagogy is built around learning by doing. This is what we call project-based pedagogy. You will work on concrete projects, alone or in groups, coached by professionals in the sector.

During these moments of projects you will be able to exchange and work with the other students of the campus (GBS in particular) and thus develop synergies together.

The professional athlete is a high level athlete on a game of predilection. Recruited in a structure (team) he participates in national and international competitions and is paid by his team.

There are more and more video games with a competitive and professional aspect: CS GO / League of Legends / FIFA / Overwatch / Hearthstone / Fortnite / PUBG / Dota 2 / Royal Clash / Arena of Valor / Rainbow Six / Rocket League / Starcraft 2.

The number of sportsmen and their salaries increase, nevertheless the competition is rough, only the excellent players, structured, demanding, capable of integrating into a team, manage to become professional.

The career of professional athletes is short. That's why they often convert to the video game industry, especially as a streamer. Gotaga is the best example, after a career as a professional Call of Duty player, he is now one of the streamers with the largest community in France.

Admissions

Access to G.Academy is open to all students over 18 years old. Acceptance is done on sports tests (results in the competitions) and aptitudes. To qualify for the Bachelor of the G.B.S, you must meet the admission requirements of this school and therefore have a general or technological degree. If necessary, you can obtain a certification from G.B.S.
